Here at Juniper Rim Game Preserve, we are offering a youth hunt for ages 9-17. The cost is $35.00. You will be guaranteed 1 Pheasant Rooster and because of "end of season" 3 other birds.
We will be hunting in 5 designated zones. These zones will be spread out so that shot can not reach from one zone to another. We will have two (2) youth hunters in each zone working as a team.
The guide will oversee and direct them to help them learn how to have a good hunt and be safe doing it. The parent or guardian will be allowed to walk along behind the guide.
There will be a one (1) hour time limit per hunt. And you are limited to four (4) birds.
Deadline- March 25th or the first 50 youth registered.
A Parent or Guardian must be present and be with youth at all times.
We will be running 5 stations with the hunt times listed below. Please click on the times you would prefer. We will try to acomodate you, but as they fill it will be harder.
Please bring your own lunch and drinks, they will not be provided. Also dress for weather(in layers) All youth must wear Blaze Orange vest and anyone in the hunting area must wear Blaze Orange.
Please don't bring your dogs, Dogs will be provided.
